Paul Noritaka Tange’s Lecture for the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan （ACCJ）
Paul Noritaka Tange delivered a lecture on the theme, “The Social Benefits of Design”, at Tokyo American Club on November 28. The event was organized by The American Chamber of Commerce in Japan （ACCJ） for its members and their guests. The lecture discussed how architecture directly impacts people’s lifestyles. It also discussed Tange Associates’ contributions to society through our designs such as the Community Hall in Rikuzentakata City, an area severely damaged by the Great East Japan Earthquake.
