Wakodo no Hiroba, “Youth Plaza”, appears in Japan Architect Magazine
Wakodo no Hiroba, “Youth Plaza”, is featured in the June issue of Shinkenchiku， Japan Architect Magazine.
Kenzo Tange designed “The Memorial for Students who Perished in the War”， which was built in 1967， to commemorate students who died in World War II. The Memorial had been closed since the Great Hanshin Earthquake in 1995. Tange Associates has been engaged in renovation efforts over the past 4 years， and the renovated park， with the new facilities available to be used for various activities， opened on March 21.
