Setouchi Triennale 2013 ”the 100th anniversary of the birth of Kenzo Tange” project
The first meeting of the Planning Committee of “the 100th anniversary of the birth of Kenzo Tange” took place on August 22. In commemoration of the 100th anniversary of Kenzo Tange’s birth, the program will allow the public to trace the projects and history of Kenzo Tange in Setouchi. The program is one of the key summer events of Setouchi Triennale 2013. Some of the events planned are the exhibition at The Kagawa Museum, a symposium and architectural tour. Chairman of the Planning Committee is Keizo Hamada, governor of Kagawa prefecture, and committee members include architects - Koji Kamiya, Fumihiko Maki, Arata Isozaki, Yoshio Taniguchi, Fram Kitagawa - Setouchi International Art Festival General Director, and Paul Noritaka Tange.
